What is Neuropathy?

Neuropathy is a result of damage to the nerves. It causes weakness, pain, numbness, tingling, and debilitating balance problems. The damage is caused mainly by a lack of blood flow to the nerves in the hands and feet. This causes the nerves to degenerate due to a lack of nutrient flow.

Several different kinds of peripheral neuropathies are created by a variety of causes. There are also a variety of presentations, most commonly numbness, tingling, or burning in the feet and/or hands. It is also not uncommon for diabetics to develop diabetic nerve pain or diabetic neuropathy due to prolonged levels of elevated blood glucose.

Peripheral neuropathies are common, especially among people over the age of 55.

You don’t need to suffer any longer. Come in and let us evaluate you and your situation. If we can help, we will tell you. In most cases, except for the most extreme cases of neuropathy, a patient can expect to slow and, possibly, reverse the effects of neuropathy on the body.

Today was my 7th visit. I never thought I would ever be without the burning, stinging, forever-cold toes. Those that said nothing could be done were wrong. Go to [Dr. Harvey]; you have nothing to lose except the pain you don’t want anyway.

I have been in pain for two years. The doctors told me there was nothing else they could do to help me. I also just got over COVID pneumonia. Dr. Harvey recommended the red-light treatment for the neuropathy and I was able to stand for the first time without pain in two years! I could feel the pain going away during the treatment. I am not coughing anymore either. Thank you for bringing this to our community
